Financial Services
ACM have always provided a Financial Services offering to
complement the general insurance and risk management services we
provide. This enables us to offer both our corporate and individual
clients a 'one-stop shop' for all their insurance needs.
The Financial Services team is headed by Andy Skuse, who has
over 20 years experience in the industry; with 12 years as an
independent financial adviser. The team is based at our new office
in Hitchin.
We can offer completely independent financial advice in the
following areas:

Employees have become more and more aware of the many and varied
staff benefits available and they have become a major tool in the
recruitment and retention of quality staff. We can assist employers
with advice to align their benefits strategy with business
strategy. This is achieved by a team approach and working with you
to ensure optimum value for your expenses and those of your
employees.
Group Risk Benefits
The provision of Death In Service Benefits, Long Term Disability
Benefit (PHI), Critical Illness Cover and also Private Medical
Insurance on a group basis. Larger organisations may wish to offer
a 'flexible benefits' arrangement, which offers a menu of options
to staff allowing them to choose appropriate types and levels of
cover.
Pensions
Following the Stakeholder legislation, and more recent
government proposals, employers have a number of options for
retirement benefits both for themselves and staff. Advice can be
provided on all the current options including Executive Pensions,
Occupational Pensions, Personal Pensions and Stakeholders.
Business Protection
Employers will typically insure virtually every element of
company property, with the exception of possibly their most
important asset - their staff. ACM can provide solutions not only
to protect the business against the loss of key personnel but also
advise on business succession.
Executive Solutions
Directors and Senior Executives may often have more complex
financial needs and bespoke and comprehensive financial advice can
be provided to include tax-planning opportunities and 'topping up'
existing pension provision.
Summary
The market for corporate financial planning is complex and
constantly changing, as evidenced by the government's recent
proposals for Pensions Reform. During the current year, as these
proposals take shape, ACM will be able to provide you with more
focused and relevant information on how the changes may affect
you.
